PEACE AFTER THE STROM
Anonymous · Sindh, Pakistan ·
To someone still stuck... I see you. I was there too, watching Danish’s videos and thinking “he’s telling my story.” It felt like he was translating my thoughts when I couldn’t put them into words. The hardest part was believing I could leave and still be a good mom. But the videos + my family’s support showed me how to cope. Listening, writing, and letting myself feel without judgment — that’s what got me through. My biggest motivation became my kids. They didn’t choose to come into this world — we did. So, it became my responsibility to give them the peaceful, beautiful life they deserve, to the best of my ability. It was horrible. I won’t share details about their father out of respect — he’s still their dad. But I will say: leaving was the most painful and most loving decision I made, for me and for them. Two years later, I’m healing at my own pace. Some days are strong, some days are quiet. Both are healing. And if Danish’s words reached you like they reached me — keep listening. You’re not crazy. You’re not alone. And peace is possible.
