Long time Realisation

"Hi Danish,

I just took your course, and I have been following you for quite a while on Instagram. I have been trying to join the dots in my life for a long time, but I finally found someone like you where I can really join the dots. Firstly, thank you for this session. It really opened my mind to how cortisol really affected my body, and how I have been surviving the abuse. I want to mention, my name is Anirudh, from Delhi, India. My mother has multiple sclerosis, since 2006's. My sister has fibromyalgia, PCOS, endometriosis, and a lot more hormonal issues which I think I have lost track of IBS as well. She is probably in almost the same condition as you were, as you told. And I just want to mention that all the things that you have mentioned, it's so correct. It's just that I'm so stuck in my life right now. My mother faced the marital abuse first hand, from her husband, my father, basically and I saw the emotional abuse, the physical abuse, the gaslighting, the blame shifting, the changing scenarios, always victimizing. Basically, layer after layer, there is so much, and there was no one to help her, which ultimately became multiple sclerosis. My sister is elder to me, she faced more of this, she witnessed more, and she got these issues. I started being aware at a very later stage in my life, but by that time I was 223 kgs, I had gained so much weight. I never dreamt that I would be living this life. Recently, from last year, I've been trying. I took a little bit of ownership and tried to deal with all the trauma, the childhood trauma that I went through, started therapy, tracking my calories and protein, increase gym activity and workouts, and I have lost about 36 kgs from 223kg I have come down to 186. I'm still trying. But what you told in your session really made sense, and I just don't really know how to, because I want to help my mother, but I may have to accept the fact that I can't do anything for her. She's in a state where she's wheelchair bound. And he will never accept any of the fault that's what I have been trying for years. Our major fights have been me telling him what was wrong, and he just shifts the blame altogether, never taking accountability, never admitting that he is at fault, never admitting how he has basically ruined the household. I don't think he'll ever get that. But it just makes me sad that my mother is in such a place, and I really can't help her."
